Lei Wang is the first Asian woman and Asian American to complete the Explorers Grand Slam.

Scaling the tallest mountains on all seven continents and skiing to both the North and South Poles, Lei stared down unimaginable odds and faced the harshest climates on earth to make history.

But it was no guarantee that Lei would ever become the trailblazing mountaineer she is today.

As a child growing up in China, Lei was intensely focused on her studies. As she began her climbing career, her small stature and lack of an athletic background always drew the skepticism of her fellow climbers.

But through the power of her grit, resilience, inner excitement, mental agility, and unstoppable “hell yes I can!” attitude, Lei achieved the seemingly impossible.
